Waterside Oasis

“Water, Water Everywhere”

Originally a modest beach house, this property became an opportunity to rethink how each inch could be used. As the owner put it, “Let’s make it into something special.”

His priorities were clear: preserve ocean views, create places to spend time throughout the day, and include as many varieties of palms as possible.

We traded front-yard parking for an arrival pool and seating, creating an outdoor room. A wooden bridge draws the eye beneath the house toward the ocean, while a second pool and grandfathered spa make use of the side yard and shoreline.

The tiki hut stayed where it was, just steps from the water. A collection of palms from around the world completes the garden, chosen to thrive along the coast.
