“Contemporary, crisp & clean lines”
Contemporary clean lines and open water views were a priority for these seasonal owners. Well-defined spaces with simple, sculptural plant groupings add to the contemporary feel of this garden. A bold concrete wall with horizontal bronze slats was designed to function aesthetically, as well as block noise from the busy street in front. The driveway was broken up into panels for more of a courtyard feel. In the back, a portion of the property was designed for entertainment with an outdoor dining area, covered kitchen and bar next to a fire pit lounging area. Opposite that is the pool and spa flanked by a large synthetic lawn (yes, it's fake) that draws the eye out to the water uninterrupted. Stage right has a horizontal Ipe fence with fountain spouts to not only complete the theme but create good neighbors. All in all, a waterfront retreat that speaks for itself.
